When the dusty Bible takes Centre stage!

The minute you read any article on the Bible, it attracts a ho - hum attitude. In fact, we give hundreds of excuses for not reading the Bible. An excuse is like a sheet of dust and with time that sheet becomes, a thick blanket placed on the Bible.

Sadly, we are given to understand, what is written in the Bible, was for people of those years and those times specifically! And it does not relate to anything for today’s day and age. Even worse – the Bible is only for those who want to study theology, or those who are ‘Holy’!!

Wow! This is a lot to take in! Especially when we have people from all walks of life, going through all sort of problems and spending unlimited money on how to deal with those problems. Well the simple reason being: the one book that can help through and through, has been lying under a heap of dust within your reach, but far from your sight. Just as the house altar has become a mere decorative piece, so has the ‘Bible’- a dust décor!

From a Dusty Bible to center stage, Holy Bible is the book with all answers
From a Dusty Bible to center stage

We often marvel at the work of scientist and authors, who have written books about how a seed germinates into a gigantic tree, but none could ever write or explain what causes the seed to germinate, that is the beauty the Bible provides, when you read with your spiritual eyes, where every question is answered… For in the Bible contains answers to every problem that you encounter today, tomorrow and always, but you need to reach out and wipe off the dust.

We are all living the current pandemic, this pandemic has turned a year old and so have we, but the Bible continues to be timeless!! It refuses to either turn old or outdated. This current pandemic has taught people to take one step closer to God… where weak stubborn knees, have now learnt to bend, and arrogant folded hands have now learnt to join in a prayerful manner, thereby turning their decorative altar into a tabernacle. This can only be done, when you start believing, praying and desire to know more about ‘yourself’. And the only way to know more about yourself, is when your heartbeat blends with the Book of Life, to reveal your true identity.

For us, the Bible is a 'living heartbeat', and we all know that till the heart continues to beat we are alive and kicking, but the moment the heart surrenders, life comes to an end. Even at a mere sneeze the heart stops for a second, but the heart of the Bible continues to beat eternally, ever since it has been placed in the hands of a man, it has travelled a thousand years down the line to reach ‘You’ and ‘Me’.

A beating heart, because it contains ‘The Word’, the word that was made flesh and dwelt amongst us, and continues to dwell among us and within us.

The simple definition for BIBLE is; Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, but for us Bible stands for, Believe In Being Loved Eternally. Where there is love, there has to be a heart, where there is a heart, there has to be a heartbeat, and that is how the Bible continues to be the book of Life. The book that teaches us to Love, Adore, Learn, Yearn and Grow towards the light of ‘The Word’.

And when we understand how important the Bible is, we transform ourselves, from the dusty Bible, to taking center stage in our lives, bringing about a change in ourselves and the people around us.

We urge you to stop, slow down, clean the dusty Bible, and listen to its heart beat, allowing it to take center stage in your life. And when you do so, you will learn that the Bible is still relevant even more today.

“For in the Old, the New is concealed,

And in the New, the Old is beautifully revealed”

There is a lot to profit, from the prophets and their prophesies, and the fulfillment bears witness through the apostle’s creed. Allow yourselves to go through the chapters and verses as you read, for…

…“Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” – Mark 13:31
